Delois Newson Batemon Denson was born on April 27, 1953. She was known by all by her nick name Chee-Chee. She attended VL Reuben Elementary School, Sumner Hill High School and Utica Jr. College.
She was an avid reader and loved reading books authored by Beverly Jenkins. She was an outgoing person and never met a stranger.
Chee-Chee quietly departed this life on Monday, January 15, 2018 with her kids and grandkids by her side.
Delois leaves to cherish her life and memories: her children, DaWandra Denson-Freeman, Kimberly Denson, Tracey Denson, Robyn Denson and Melanie Denson; friend-Mr. George Mack, 21 grandchildren (one granddaughter Makayla preceded her in death) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
