Helen Jewel Stapleton Grave was born to the late Eddie L. Stapleton and Jerlene Hooker on November 18, 1941 in Rankin County, MS.
She joined Rose Hill M. B. Church at an early age. She remained a member until she moved. She moved to Jackson, MS as an adult where she became a faithful member of Apostolic Restoration Ministry Church until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret R. Keyes; and nieces, Margie L. Keyes and Janie D. Gibson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Janice S. Malbrough of Brandon, MS; one son, Roy L. Graves of Brandon, MS; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two brothers, Jerry J. Rhodes of Jackson, MS and Larry G. (Tina) Rhodes of Mendenhall, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends; and two longtime friends, Ms. M. L. Dobson and Mrs. Mattie Manyfield.
