Henry Samuel

Henry Lee Samuel was born on May 4, 1946 to John Sr. and Grace Samuel. Henry departed this earthly life at Hospice Ministries on August 23, 2017 in Ridgeland, MS. His parents, three sisters, Lucille Benson, Grace and Lebertha Samuel, and five brothers, John Jr., Willie, James, Alonzo, and Clyde Samuel all preceded him in death.
At an early age Henry attended Pleasant Green Baptist Church. Henry received his education in Hinds County Public Schools at Sumner Hill, where he played on the basketball team.
Henry served in the United States Armed Services. He lived in Chicago, IL. He moved to Milwaukee, WI for a number of years. Henry worked as a carpenter and chef for many years before relocating back to Clinton, MS.
He heaves to cherish his memories; his son, Eric D. Samuel of Jackson, MS; his daughter, Adrienne Demitrius Patton of Byram, MS; one aunt, Nancy Huilitt of Indianapolis, IN; seven grandchildren, Marshawn, Maurice II, Maurica, M. J., Ayden, Jadarius and Kendel; one sister, Julia Thomas of Jackson, MS; two brothers, Bernard (Elizabeth) Samuel of Alexandria, VA and Eugene Samuel of Broadview, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives and friends.
