Antonio Goodlett

Obituary

Adrian Antonio Goodlett was born November 19, 1963 to the late James Ennis Goodlett and late Mary Louise Jackson. He was the fourth of nine children. He was known to all as “Tony”. Tony had a loving spirit and at a young age found his love in family, music, and baking cakes. Everyone who encountered Tony knew how much he loved his family especially his nieces and nephews. There was nothing that Tony would not do to help someone in need. Whether it was picking up kids from soccer and basketball practices to helping out babysitting, Tony was always there with a smile on his face and an open heart. Despite never having any children of his own, Tony was a father figure to every child he encountered and shared his love with. Tony departed his physical life on Monday, January 6, 2020. His love will be continued through his living siblings and those who loved him dearly, and in the end we all know that Tony would say “I don’t like CHIL-REN, but I love you”.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters Bernice Young, Wanda Hoye, and Sara Short; and five brothers Terence Jackson, Perry Jackson, James Ennis Jr., Eric Goodlett, and Bruce Goodlett. He leaves eighteen nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
