Born May 23, 1956, Mary Frances Hubbard, affectionately known by her family as Mae Frances and Aunt Mae, was the fourth blessing to Howard Mounger and Verta Mae Robinson, both of whom preceded her in death. A social butterfly, who never knew a stranger, Mary Frances graduated from Sumner Hill High School in 1975 and received her Associate Degree from Hinds Community College.
While working in the healthcare industry, Mary Frances took pride in providing the very best care to her patients. She went above and beyond in being certain that they were treated with gentleness and kindness.
A woman of many talents, Mary Frances loved being in the midst of people. Every friend was a best friend. She loved music, dancing and ensuring that she was covered in the lasted fashion styles. It was well known that wherever Mary Frances went, laughter, music and good conversation were not far behind.
Mary Frances also loved to cook, much of which would come from her very own garden. Her ability to make things grow was evident by the many plants and flowers she nurtured and surrounded herself with in her home.
Mae Frances was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Clinton, MS, where she faithfully served as her health would allow. Much too soon for our hearts, our beloved Mary Frances began her own journey to see the creator on April 17, 2021 at the age of 65.
Mae Frances was preceded in death by five of her siblings: Jimmie Cavett Sr.; Henry Robinson, Calvin Robinson; Dorothy Simmons; and Patricia Robinson. Her grandson Jacarin Robinson also preceded her in death. Mary Frances leaves behind to honor her memory, two brothers, Robert Cavett (Dorene); Melvin Robinson (Lakesher); two sisters, Jessie Thomas and Christine Thompson.
To carry on her legacy of love and fellowship, she leaves her daughter Sonja Robinson; granddaughters, Kyoshi Richardson (JaMarcus) and Jaalyn Alexander; and one grandson Nicholas Alexander, and one great granddaughter Miss Olivia Belle Richardson.
Through a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, Mae Frances’ loving spirit will be carried and cherished.
